O n T h e C o v e r "Bayside Lobster" Nick Paciorek Our cover artist received a national award for this painting. For prints, reach out to Nick Pacio- rek through contact information below. Nick Paciorek is a New England-based artist celebrated for his bold use of color, dynamic compositions, and expressive brushwork. Influenced by Fauvist painters like Matisse, Derain, and Chagall, Paciorek brings everyday scenes—cityscapes, harbors, and landscapes—to life with vibrant intensity. His work transforms familiar environments into vivid explorations of light, energy, and emotion. Born in Chicago, Paciorek discovered his passion for art during his teenage years, often exploring Impressionist galleries in the city. He later honed his skills at the Maryland Institute College of Art, earning a BFA that laid the foundation for his distinctive style. Over the years, his paintings have evolved into a recognizable fusion of structure and spontaneity, color and form. Beyond the canvas, Paciorek is deeply invested in artistic community and preservation. He owns and operates out of the historic Pitcher-Goff House in Pawtucket, Rhode Island—a restored 19th-century man- sion that now serves as his studio, gallery, and a creative hub for artists. Through exhibitions, retreats, and events, Paciorek continues to share his vision and inspire others. His work is more than just visual—it's an experience, an invitation to see the world through a richer, more colorful lens.
