Batten down the hatches and prepare to be taken back in time to the swashbuckling days of privateers at theCapeCodPirateFestival! This festival celebrates the rich pirating history that is here on Cape Cod. Buccaneers of all ages are welcome to join in the fun and immerse themselves in history. Here you can find thrilling activities such as reenactments, live music, interactive treasure hunts, delicious food, and colorful parades. Get your tickets and join the crew, hoist your Jolly Roger Flag, and leave your mark on June 1st, 2nd, 8th, and 9th from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. Calling all fathers! Rev your engines and get ready for a Father's Day like no other! The annualFather'sDayCar Show, hosted by the Greater Hyannis Chamber of Commerce, creates the ultimate venue for all gearheads and enthusiasts alike. Spanning almost the entirety of Hyannis Main Street, the event creates a dazzling display of hot rods, classic and vintage automobiles that look like they just rolled off the assembly line. Other than marveling at these beautiful vehicles there are many other activities one can enjoy such as having brunch at one of the many restaurants that reside on Main Street, live music, and other family-friendly activities. The Car show is June 16th from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm so get ready and put yourself in gear to have a great time! Indulge yourself in the vibrant and maritime culture of Cape Cod at the annualPortugueseFestival and BlessingoftheFleet right here in Provincetown! Take a weekend and celebrate the region's rich Portuguese heritage and food. The festival kicks off with a colorful parade with participants adorning coruscating traditional costumes, live music, and festive floats. Visitors will savor the mouthwatering Portuguese cuisine while enjoying the weekend's live entertainment and browsing artisanal crafts and souvenirs. This is all before the main highlight of the festival itself, which is the Blessing of the Fleet ceremony. Boats of all sizes will dock near and in the harbor, all dressed in colorful flags and decorations before receiving a blessing
