Embargo restaurant – featuring
martinis, tapas, sushi, steaks, live
entertainment, and more – is the
wildly successful brain child of
David and Marissa Noble.
Opening Embargo in 2007, David
and Marissa employed their long-
time backgrounds in the service
industry to create the food, drink,
and entertainment venue that has
become a mainstay on Main Street
in Hyannis.
The Nobles and Embargo host
"Aston's Bloody Mary Mix-Off"
each April, when over 20 of the
Cape's finest restaurants compete
for bragging rights to the title of
"Cape Cod's Best Bloody Mary" –
and a local charity benefits from
the fun. This year's beneficiary is
The Kennedy-Donovan Center's
Early Intervention Program, which
serves the needs of children with
developmental disabilities
throughout Central and Southeast-
ern Massachusetts. (The Center's
Early Intervention Program is close
to the Nobles' hearts: their two
children, Aston and Vivienne,
have both benefited from early
intervention.)
Since its inception, Aston's Bloody
Mary Mix-Off has raised over
$250,000 for early intervention
services for children all over
Cape Cod and the islands. When
dedicated volunteers and a clever
concept combine to raise money
for a worthy cause, everyone is a
winner!
