Ted "Teddy" Zambelis is a bit of a legend in the Cape Cod hospitality business- and the reason is he makes every customer feel a part of his extended family. He brings that special charm and gracious welcome to his newest waterfront venue, Tugboats on the Hyannis Harbor. Teddy started in the hospitality industry when he was just a boy. His mother and uncles owned the Commodore restaurant in Beverly, Massachusetts; the restaurant was often called "Anthony's Pier 4 of the North Shore". a reference to Boston's famed fish restaurant. Teddy worked with his mother and uncles to learn the hospitality business hands-on and graduated from Boston University with a degree in restaurant management and marketing. Shortly after college, he met his wife, Angie, and relocated to the Cape where he and Angie ran family restaurants and had two sons, Harry and Gerry. Teddy had always dreamed of owning his own restaurant . . . one that would reflect his personal culinary vision. Shortly before the pandemic hit in 2020, Teddy purchased tugboats and remodeled the waterfront restaurant with the help of family and friends. Tugboats offers breathtaking views that can be enjoyed from both indoor and outdoor seating.
