With over a decade of operating the "Summer Guide" Wayne and Elizabeth Smith, our
friends and former publishers, are retiring from the Publication and have sold it to Patricia
Kent, Patricia is also the owner of Penguin's Ice Cream Igloo in West Yarmouth and Penguin's
Ice Cream Factory in Sandwich. After nearly 24 years in advertising, and almost a decade
with the "Summer Guide", Patricia would bring in her son, Harrison, and her daughter, Julie,
and go on to purchase the beloved 29-year-old publication. Harrison graduated from the
University of Maine and has become the editor-in-chief, Julie joins as an amazing graphic
designer, and Suzanne Del Rossi joins as the Co-Editor in Chief with a strong background in
publishing and graphic design. Delaney Proko, an Endicott College graduate, is an assistant
editor and web designer. Lastly, our dearest friend, artist, and gallery owner Julia O'Malley
Keyes adorns our cover with her stunning and amazing oil paintings.
