This "broadside" which can be found at the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum in Cooperstown, N.Y., is an important part of the Cape Cod Baseball League's history. It is one of the earliest pieces of printed material that actually mentions baseball on Cape Cod. It is con- sidered so important that it has taken on almost lengendary status, as the league points to it's very existence as evidence of their origins. The Cape Cod Baseball League is a Cape Cod tradi- tion. Each year the most talented collegiate baseball players in the country are selected to play on one of the league's ten teams. In 2019 a record 330 former Cape Leaguers played in the Major Leagues. All Cape League regular season games are free, however donations are welcomed.
