Support is encouraged and appre- ciated in order to make the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower Pilgrims landing in Provinc- etown one for the record books. From its descendants to historical exhibits and soon to come celebrations, Provincetown, Eastham and surrounding towns on the Cape should not be missed in 2020 as re-enactments and other special events bring the area's rich history back to life once again.• THE RESTORATION OF MAYFLOWER II Mayflower II is currently being restored in the Henry B. DuPont Preservation Ship Yard located at Mystic Seaport in Connecticut. A national icon, Mayflower II is the replica of Mayflower, the ship that carried the Pilgrims across the Atlantic in 1620. Mayflower II was constructed in 1955-1956 at Upham Shipyard in Brixham, England. She was presented to the American people as a show of respect for the World War II alliance between the United States and the United Kingdom. The restoration will bring her back to glory in time to celebrate, in 2020, the 400th Anniver- sary of the Pilgrims 1620 arrival.
